Services to Attorneys

Dr. Franklin provides consultation and expert witness services on matters dealing with the emotional, psychological, and neuropsychological performance of children who suffer from chronic conditions of medical illness, developmental disabilities, and physical trauma.  Medical disorders impacting learning and behavior, such as Head Injuries, Learning Disabilities, Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder, Gilles de la Tourette Syndrome, Anxiety Disorders, Autism, and other Pervasive Developmental Disorders are of particular interest.  Dr. Franklin also provides consultation on the management of behavior disorders associated with medical conditions such as Diabetes, Cancer, Cystic Fibrosis, Fragile X Syndrome, Sickle Cell Disease, Down Syndrome, and Seizure Disorders, as they are addressed in institutions under section 504 of the Americans With Disabilities Act.  He is concerned with causal aspects of head injury as well as their sequels -- such as return to school, instructional modifications, attainment of maximum medical improvement, and long-term disability.
